Eric and Glenn discuss a recent decision coming down from a California appellate court that upheld fingerprint testimony but uses uninformed and grossly inappropriate comparisons to reach the decision to make that call. Linking fingerprint comparison to eyewitness identification, relying on the jury to compare fingerprints on their own, and declaring the field as almost entirely unscientific misses the mark by a mile.
